Kids' Day Volunteers

Thank you to our volunteers! Day at the Beach volunteers include people from the local community as well as surf club members, surf pros and sponsor employees. Some volunteers work on the organization of the event for several hours throughout the year, while others offer a few hours of their time at "Kids’ Day" events.

"Behind the scenes" volunteers help with event organization as well as fundraising and promotion. Our "Day of" volunteers help with event setup and cleanup, the barbeque, prize give-aways, surf lessons, and of course, having fun with the kids! No experience is necessary.

A rewarding experience

Being a Kids' Day volunteer is a rewarding experience. You'll create friendships with other volunteers and most importantly, know you're making a difference in the life an underprivileged child. You'll take pride in being a positive role model for the kids, while helping them gain confidence and learn new skills.
